Literature
We will start reading the Anansi folktales that probably were first told in Africa. We will discuss the lessons learned in each of these tales in will respond to discussion questions orally and in writing.
Math
This week our focus in math will be adding and subtracting with regrouping.
Science
This week we continue our study of the human body. We will take a look at the muscular system and differentiate between voluntary and involuntary muscles. We will also discuss the food pyramid and what a balanced looks like including the five food groups.
History
This week we will wrap up our unit on Early Settlers and Explorers. We will assemble our assignments into an interactive book.
